Voting Question: My mom is bitter about a gift I bought for someone...?

I hang out with an older couple who are like a second set of parents to me. I've known them for over a year. My real mom is great and I see her once a week even though we don't have much to talk. I get along better with the couple because we have a lot of friends in common and we sit around talking about other things that happen in the community, which my mother knows nothing about. I got the woman a small pillow for mother's day saying "mom (her name)" She is like a mother to me and I can count on her to talk to and she is always willing to have me over for coffee or dinner, which I can't do with my mom on a regular basis (I'm 32 with an 11 year old sister, so my mother is focused on taking care of her), my mom e-mailed me since I had a photo of me and the woman with the pillow posted on fb, as a nice sentiment. My mom seemed to get upset, saying she never got a personalized pillow and usually you get that type of gift for a real mother who has been a big part of your life. I feel like I was on the defense all of a sudden, because I just wanted to do something nice for this woman. I got my mom gourmet coffee and cheesecake, which she will love, and they all cost more than the little pillow I got for this woman. What can I say to my mom? I told her already that it was just meant to be a nice sentiment, it's not like she's replacing my real mom.. Is my mother making too big of a deal? The woman I got the pillow for isn't into jewelry, flowers, lotions, soaps or even technology, so I tried to get her something personal instead.

Well, my sister is hosting a Mother's Day Extravaganza for 15 WONDERFUL Mothers of ALL ages!. She's having an ELABORATE dinner & assorted wines to compliment the food. Resolved Question: Where can I find coffee pods that fit my Gourmet Coffee Cafe Model N6PM1B?

I got the thing for free from a friend's dad, but I don't have many 'pods' left. I used Google to find out their size, but I didn't find it. So I searched Ebay and Amazon to maybe see if I could find a description of it, but 'gourmet', 'coffee', and 'cafe' is too broad of a search.

I've created a gourmet biscotti company. There are thousands of coffee houses, cafe's and winery's that are open to sales. There are many national and international coffee chains also. I need the money to buy a facility to increase production and hire the personel to do this.

Resolved Question: Would you buy from my cupcake shop?

I love cupcakes and want to open a gourmet cupcake shop (Reasonable prices and a great variety) To bring in additional people I would like to add a coffee kiosk, possibly Tim Hortons (self serve coffee, hot chocolate, tea etc). I'd also like a small comfortable lounge for customers to relax with possible entertainment (in the future). Do you like my cupcake shop idea?

Resolved Question: Kahlua 100% Arabica Gourmet Coffee?

So, I bought Kahlua 100% Arabic Gourmet Coffee (not the alcoholic liqueur) and so far every time I brew some and add sugar and vanilla creamer (or milk) it just doesn't taste good. Has anyone made a type of latte with Kahlua Coffee before that came out delicious and would like to share their recipe?
